These artworks from my solo exhibition at Uni SQ in 2025 extend the drama, theatre and storytelling of Barque art and reflect further on the paintings of artists from the Modern canon that have been influential on my work.The exhibition sees my first paper sculptures and an installation, re-imagining these fragile pieces to be dramatic, important and perennial. The exhibition combines, in various ways, Abstract Expressionist forms with traditional patterns in a deliberately over-the-top display of ephemeral beauty.
