I love watercolour painting, as it has a great synergy with oils - an intense colour, a liquid light allowing transparencies. Often, as a way of breaking up the studio activity (and of changing my headspace) or in order to freely explore variations on a theme, I begin to paint in watercolour. Here’s the result of my play, my exploration, my extension of the medium.
